Orientation

We strongly recommend that one parent from every family attend an orientation meeting prior to registering their child for chess club. This applies to both new and returning students.  We will be offering one such meeting immediately following the elementary orientation this Thursday, August 11, 2005.  The main elementary orientation program starts at 1:30, and will last about 2 hours.  Therefore, our meeting should be underway around 3:30 pm in the cafeteria.  Middle School parents are welcome to attend at this time as well.  For those who can not make this meeting, there will be another one at 3 pm (after school) on Friday, August 19, 2005 in the elementary art room.  I will consider adding one additional orientation meeting, on either an evening or weekend, if the demand for such is great
