Regional Chess Tournament this Saturday

So far, we have the following 22 kids signed up for the Region V Chess Championship in Baytown this coming Saturday, February 21st. Several others have verbally said they are coming, but they are not shown to be preregistered as of last Saturday, February 14th. If you have already sent your registration materials in, please let me know. There is no mail delivery today (President's Day Holiday) so they probably won't show up on the preregistration list for another day or two. We expect everyone on the chess team to play in this event. This and the State Meet in March are our 2 most important events. If you have not yet registered, do it now. The flyer and registration form are downloadable from: http://liptrap.topcities.com/chess.htm You can also check to see that your materials are received and you are on the preregistration list from that same page. Note that a number of you forgot to pay the $1 TCA fee. You need to take care of that by mailing it now or standing in line Saturday morning. Also, a number of you have not told me whether you need to borrow chess sets, clocks, etc. Let me know.
