Tournament Update #2

September 30, 2005
So far, we have 18 registered for next Saturday's tournament (10/8) here at our own school.  I am expecting about 40 of our kids to sign up, so we are close to half way.  Get your registration materials turned in promptly.  Again, if you want the cheaper rate, your registration form and check needs to be mailed by Monday.  Download a copy of the form here.  If you prefer to enter online, it will cost $2 more.  Online entry is here. 

For kids who have never played tournament chess, this is the best tournament to start with.  We want the new players as well as our most experienced team members.  Our tournament is most fun and most explanatory event of the school year.  So, don't be shy. 

We still need lots more parent volunteers for both Friday and Saturday.  Please let us know when you can help.
